  • 1 lb boneless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 ½ cups canned tomatoes
  • 2 yellow onions
  • ½ tsp sugar
  • 1 pkg black eyed peas
  • 1 pkg frozen baby lima beans
  • 1 pkg frozen corn niblets
  • 1 pkg frozen sliced okra
  • 1 cup toasted bread crumb
  • 2 tsp salt to taste
  • ½ tsp fresh ground pepper
  • 3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ tobasco
  1. Lightly brown chicken, add broth, tomatoes, onions and sugar.
  2. Bring to a simmer, cover and cook for 1 ¼ hrs.
  3. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil
  4. Simmer for 30 minutes uncovered.
